• Mr. Caruso holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

• Mr. Caruso is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the ASTM International Committee D-18, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Retail Network.

• Mr. Caruso’s professional experience includes the performance of forensic engineering investigations and evaluations of the design and construction elements relating to civil and environmental construction projects. His work includes analysis of conformance to applicable building codes and regulations, OSHA requirements and other accepted and recognized standards.

• Prior to joining AEL Mr. Caruso served as a Land Development Manager, Project Engineer, Lead Civil Engineer and Resident Engineer for engineering firms in New Jersey, Connecticut and for the United Stars Army Corps of Engineers. His work included civil site work, conceptual layout of bio-treatment processes, water distribution, pump station design, cost estimating, permitting, utility relocation, site drainage, lighting, sidewalk design, handicapped accessibility, temporary traffic control and construction staging and preparation of specifications. Mr. Caruso has served as an engineering representative for multi-million dollar site development projects, having responsibility for coordination of work performed by site development crews, implementation of design plans and performing engineering reviews.
