• Mr. Schwalje holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey and a Master of Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York Pennsylvania, Florida, California, South Carolina and Alabama.

• Mr. Schwalje is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, The National Safety Council, The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), The National Fire Protection Association, and serves on the Industrial Advisory Board at the Rutgers University College of Engineering.

• Mr. Schwalje’s professional experience includes design of custom and special application machines and processing equipment, forensic engineering investigation and evaluation related to machinery design, operation, and the applicability of domestic and international standards and codes to multiple types of machinery and production equipment. He has provided trial testimony as an engineering expert both State and Federal Courts throughout the United States.
