Mr. Regenthal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey.

Mr. Regenthal is a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), NJ State Firemen’s Association, NJ State Firemen’s Exempt Association, and the NJ State Fire Chief’s Association.

Mr. Regenthal is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (C.F.E.I.). He is the Fire Company President of the Fanwood Volunteer Fire Department, where he has served as a Firefighter, Assistant Chief and Chief. Previously he was a Deputy Chief for the Scotch Plains Volunteer Fire Department and a Team Leader for the Fire Investigation Task Force in Union, New Jersey.

Mr. Regenthal’s professional experience includes forensic engineering investigation and evaluation of design and construction of electrical and control systems as well as product inspections and safety analyses. Mr. Regenthal has conducted origin investigations and analyzed potential electrical causes for the occurrences in both industrial, commercial and residential equipment and appliances.

Prior to joining AEL Mr. Regenthal served as an electrician, electrical technician, owner/operations manager, electrical engineer, senior equipment engineer, general manager and engineering manager for various firms in New York and New Jersey.
