Mr. Derector earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Derector is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the International Code Council (ICC), ASTM International Committee F-13 on Pedestrian/Walkway Safety and Footwear, the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), the Accredited Snow Contractors Association and a former member of the Traffic and Transportation Committee, Borough of Metuchen, NJ.

Mr. Derector is the President and General Manager of AEL and is responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining AEL Mr. Derector served as a Designer, Senior Designer, Project Engineer and Project Manager for various engineering firms in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area. His work included highway design and construction along with work as a Site Development Inspector.
